Successful Kidney Transplant Conducted at BLDE Society's B.M. Patil Medical College and Hospital
In a significant medical achievement, doctors at BLDE Society’s B.M. Patil Medical College and Hospital in Vijayapura have successfully conducted a kidney transplant. The procedure, led by a team of skilled surgeons including S.B. Patil, Dilip Javali, V.S. Kundaragi, Santosh Patil, Sandeep Patil, Bhuvanesh Aradhya, and post-graduate students, was deemed a success.
The recipient, a 17-year-old from Bihar, underwent the operation, with his mother graciously donating the organ for the transplant.
