BLDE Medical College Drives Road Safety Awareness During National Week

In a dedicated effort to instill a sense of responsibility and safety, BLDEA Medical College IQAC conducted a week-long Safety Awareness Program (SAP) themed "Zero Harm & Be a Hero" during the National Road Safety Week. 

The program kicked off on January 11th, with MBBS and Allied Health Science students taking a solemn pledge to uphold critical road safety measures. The activities culminated on January 17th, featuring Shri. Basavaraj Yaliwar, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Vijayapura, as the Chief Guest.

Shri. Basavaraj Yaliwar delivered a compelling speech, praising BLDEA Medical College for prioritizing the welfare of medical students and emphasizing the importance of road safety measures. Dr. M. B. Patil, Vice Principal, Clinical, and Dr. Sumangla Patil, Vice Principal, Pre-para, presided over the event.

This initiative aligns with the medical college’s commitment to fostering socially responsible individuals and creating a safer road environment.
