Deca Laser Academy inaugurated at BLDE

BLDE Society’s B.M. Patil Medical College in Vijayapura inaugurates the pioneering BLDE DU-Deca Laser Academy, offering sophisticated deca laser treatment for skin-related ailments. Minister M.B. Patil inaugurated the facility, claiming it to be the country's first of its kind, with aspirations to make it world-class. The academy, a result of collaboration with Italy-based Deca Laser, focuses on treatment, research, development, and education in dermatology. Paulo Salvenio of Deca Laser highlighted the collaborative effort to advance medical research, fostering competitiveness and societal welfare. Arun Inamdar, Pro-Chancellor of BLDE University, emphasized over three decades of hard work culminating in the academy, promoting faculty and student exchange. Notable attendees included Vice Chancellor R.S. Mudhol, Pro-Chancellor Y.M. Jairaj, and Registrar R.V. Kulkarni. The launch signifies a significant step in advancing dermatological care and research.
